These are some of the tests used by the modern medical system to determine the presence of a virus – CORONA or otherwise.

Serology is the scientific study of serum and other body fluids. Serological methods are diagnostic methods that are used to identify antibodies and antigens in a patient sample of serum or plasma. Serological tests may be performed for diagnostic purposes when an infection [viral] is suspected.

Immunofluorescence is a method in biology that relies on the use of antibodies chemically labeled with fluorescent dyes to visualize molecules under a light microscope.

NOTE A virus antigen is a toxin or other substance given off by a virus which causes an immune response in its host.

Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a method widely used in molecular biology to rapidly make millions to billions of copies of a specific DNA sample allowing scientists to take a very small sample of DNA and amplify it to a large enough amount to study in detail. The Viral Load Test is similar.

New blood tests for antibodies could show true scale of coronavirus pandemic

The CDC comments on the test for COVID-19 “Positive [test] results are indicative of active infection with 2019-nCoV but do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The agent detected may not be the definite cause of disease. Laboratories within the United States and its territories are required to report all positive results to the appropriate public health authorities.” Read the report here.

Electron Microscopy (EM) Virus particles are detected and identified on the basis of morphology. A magnification of around 50,000 is normally used. EM is now mainly used for the diagnosis of viral gastroenteritis by detecting viruses in faeces e.g. rotavirus, adenovirus, astrovirus, calicivirus and Norwalk-like viruses.

With the exception of EM, these procedures measure things that are produced (viral antigen) by or associated (antibody) with the hypothetical virus. They do not directly measure or detect the virus itself – these are INDIRECT tests from which the presence of a virus is INFERRED.

Please look very closely at these excerpts from the companies website, this is current at March 2020;

“BioMedomics has developed and launched one of the world’s first rapid point-of-care lateral flow immunoassays for the diagnosis of coronavirus infection. The test has been used widely by the Chinese CDC to combat infections and is now available globally.”

“How does COVID-19 Rapid Test work? The test strip contains a colloidal gold-labeled recombinant novel coronavirus antigen and quality control antibody colloidal gold marker, two detection lines (G and M lines) and one quality control line (C) fixed on a nitrocellulose membrane. M is fixed with monoclonal anti-human IgM antibody for detecting the novel coronavirus IgM antibody. G is fixed with monoclonal anti-human IgG antibody for detecting the novel coronavirus IgG antibody. The quality control antibody is fixed on the C line.”

If you read this carefully, it specifically states “ … for detecting the novel coronavirus IgM antibody“
This test DOES NOT DETECT the virus !!!
You must ask at this point – “is there really a virus present ?”
