It remains unclear how store employees are supposed to discern between those who have a legitimate health exemption from B.C.’s new indoor mask mandate and those who refuse to follow the new rules in protest. Last week, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced the new indoor mask mandate <www.castanet.net/news/BC/316879/Indoor-gatherings-banned>for all indoor public and retail spaces, as cases of COVID-19 continue to rise across the province.
